CarePlus Store Scam Alert: Do Not Pay These Accounts

CDcare warns: do not pay THE CAREPLUS STORE or SQUAD THE CAREPLUS STORE. These impersonators are not affiliated with CDcare. See account details and report.

CarePlus Store Scam Alert: Do Not Pay These Accounts

Official customer warning from CDcare, published 8 October 2026. This alert concerns scammers using the payment recipient names THE CAREPLUS STORE and SQUAD THE CAREPLUS STORE while pretending to represent CDcare. They are NOT affiliated with CDcare. Do not pay them or do business with anyone using these accounts to offer a CDcare purchase.

CarePlus Store, Care Plus Store and THE CAREPLUS STORE are the name variations addressed in this warning. CDcare is publishing this notice to help customers identify and avoid the reported impersonation scheme.

CarePlus Store accounts identified in the report

The bank-transfer receipts supplied to CDcare display the following recipient details. They are listed so customers can recognise the accounts and avoid sending money to them. They are not CDcare payment instructions.

• THE CAREPLUS STORE — Kuda MFB / Kuda Bank — account ending 3066.

• SQUAD THE CAREPLUS STORE — Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) — account ending 4045.

Do not pay either account for a CDcare order, instalment, activation or delivery. The bank names identify the institutions shown on the receipts; this warning concerns the impersonators and their payment requests, not an allegation against those banks.

How the CarePlus Store impersonation works

The report includes WhatsApp messages and documents presented as CDcare payment confirmations. The sender uses CDcare branding, refers to Pay Small Small and asks the customer to keep an invoice receipt and an activation code for a delivery-agent visit.

One message claims that a delivery agent will contact the customer within 24 to 48 hours of payment. It thanks the customer for shopping with CDcare and asks them to hold on for confirmation. These claims are part of the reported impersonation; they are not a delivery promise or payment confirmation from CDcare.

The documents are headed Payment Receipt, use the name CDcare NG and show a green PAID stamp. A copied company name, branded receipt, activation code or delivery promise does not establish that a seller represents CDcare.

WhatsApp message used in the reported impersonation

The following text was supplied to CDcare from the reported WhatsApp exchange. It shows the invoice, activation-code and delivery-agent claims used by the impersonators. This is evidence of their message, not instructions or a delivery promise from CDcare.

That's your INVOICE RECEIPT 🧾 #6263P6MJ87362CD is your Pay Small Small Activation Code Please keep all info saved on your cell phone, you're going to need them when the delivery agent visits. Your delivery agent will contact you within 24 to 48 hours of your payment. Thank you for shopping with CDcare! May you continue to grow better and better! Please Hold On For Confirmation

The pattern is to direct payment to CAREPLUS STORE accounts, issue documents using CDcare's name and a PAID stamp, then give an activation code and a delivery-agent promise. None of these claims confirms a genuine CDcare order. Verify orders and payments in the official app.
