Why this product

Optical: specifications and details

An optical snoot is a lighting modifier used in photography and theater to create a focused, directional light beam. It typically consists of a tube with a lens at one end, allowing for precise control over the light's spread and intensity. This setup enables photographers to project patterns, textures, or shapes onto subjects or backgrounds, adding depth and interest to images. Directional Lighting: They produce a sharp, focused light, ideal for highlighting specific areas or creating dramatic effects. Pattern Projection: By using interchangeable "gobos" (stencils or patterns), photographers can project various designs onto surfaces. Versatility: Adjusting the lens focus allows for control over the sharpness and spread of the light pattern.
