At CDcare, we understand that plans can change. If you’re unable to continue your payments, returning your item is a simple and flexible option. When should you return the item?

If you’re unable to make your payment, the item should be returned within the grace period.

You can:

What happens after you return the item?

1. 30-Day Holding Period

Once your item is returned, it will be held for up to 30 days.

This allows you to:

  • Resume your payments

  • Continue your plan and take your item back

2. If you do not resume payments

If you are still unable to continue after 30 days:

  • CDcare will assist in finding a buyer for the item

  • The item will be valued based on its current market condition

3. Settlement Process

From the sale value:

  • Your outstanding balance will be deducted

  • Applicable charges will be deducted

  • Any remaining balance will be refunded to you

Important to note

  • Returning the item stops Failure-to-Return Fees

  • Returning early helps you avoid additional charges

  • Keeping the item after the grace period leads to ongoing charges

Best option

If you’re unable to continue payments: 👉 Return the item within the grace period

It’s the easiest way to avoid extra charges and protect your balance.
